Surface Preparation: Clean the surface thoroughly, removing any dirt, dust or old sealant. Make sure it is dry before applying the silicone.
Cutting the nozzle: Cut the tip of the silicone tube at a 45 degree angle to obtain the desired tape size.
Inserting the cartridge: Place the cartridge into the insulation gun and make sure it is secure.
Applying the sealant: Apply the silicone evenly along the joint or gap by gently applying pressure to the sealant gun. Work in sections for better control.
Tape Formatting: Use a smoothing tool or your finger to smooth the silicone to a clean finish, ensuring a strong seal.
Allow to dry: Allow the silicone to dry for 24 hours before exposing it to water or moisture.
